MM Pedal Tractors

March 20, 2009 - 10:52 AM

The tot pedal tractors were first made in the 1950s by the Binghamton Metal Co. (BMC Mfg. Corp., N. Y.). The American Machine and Foundry Co. of New York bought them out in the mid-fifties. AMF produced the shuttle shift pedal tractor.

If you have any interesting information or stories about pedal tractors you would like to share on this site, let us know.

I have a tin M/M Tot Tractor that's almost as old as I am -58. Does it have any value or should I keep letting my grand- kids play with it? Thanks

My father was a MM dealer and we had a unique MM pedal tractor as a child. It had a bullet nose and shift lever between the pedals. I'm currently looking for one to restore and place in an ag museum. Any ideas or know of anyone who might want to sell?

I have a silver and yellow pedal tractor I think its called a "bullet nose"? The rubber is bad on the wheels, should I replace the tires or leave it the way it is. It was bought for me by my father in the early 50's.

Hi MM enthusiasts, My Uncle worked at the MM plant on Lake Street in the 50's and 60's. I would love to own a MM TOT pedal tractor restored or needing restoration either way. Email me at Paulthepal@yahoo.com. Thanks, pUl

I was just wondering what the value of my 50's BMC M/M tot tractor in excellent shape. Is there any info as to how many were made?
